    PCOD is a disease which is a challenge to control. It usually is associated with Anovulation and progesterone deficiency leading to infertility or subfertility. Get your Thyroid profile done and serum prolactin levels to see if there is any associated hormonal imbalance. Get a GTT test and fasting insulin levels done. Medicines like insulin sensitisers as metformin or inositol tabs, lifestyle modification like weight management according to BMI ( ), exercise along with destressing are required to improve outcomes. Ovulation induction as is being done also helps. But if resistant and ovulation again is a problem, OCPs can be given to suppress followed by induction. If still required, ovarian drilling can help laparoscopically, which also rules out other issues. Resistant cases may further need IVF if everything fails.
