Transvaginal ultrasound, rising HCG levels. Shall I worry?

HCG trigger shot on 10/12 and an IUI on 10/13. Went for b/w and transvaginal ultrasound today morning. No spotting or bleeding could be ruled out. HCG levels continue to rise (awaiting for todays results, but two days ago was 1685). My rising HCG levels, Is this something to be worried about?

  1. Hello Dear,

Thank you for writing to us at MediMetry.

Do not worry. As per your HCG levels, you are pregnant and wait for 10 to 14 days for ultrasound. It may be confirmed on scan even now as a g sac may be seen but wait, if no complaints as later cardiac activity can also be seen. Take folic acid 5mg daily and stay calm.

Hope this answers your query. Feel free to write back to us with follow-up questions.
