  1. Hello Dear,

Thank you for writing to us at MediMetry.
Itching in that are can be either some allergic response or infection. Swelling of that area maybe wart should be examined by specialist. If it is a wart due to HPV virus, it needs immediate treatment as it can spread with contact. You can try hygiene washes as alteration of ph around that area can be a cause of itching or infection. If is is allergic response to some cloth or drug etc., it needs to be treated accordingly. It is recommended to consult a doctor and get thorough check-up done.

Thanks for your reply mam.... should i avoid intercourse as well due to this condition... is there any harmful effect with it... we are planning for a baby and m taking medicines for that as well.... please guide me..
    • Hello Dear,

First you need to diagnose the cause for your infection or swelling otherwise it may spread during the intercourse. Once your check up is done and the cause for swelling etc. is identified, till then you should avoid intercourse.

  3. Hello Dear,

Thank you for writing to us at MediMetry.
The medicine you are taking for cyst will not cause vulva itching. Cause of vulva itching can be fungal infection which along with itching causes white vaginal discharge also. So you have to consult your gynae for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment.
