What is your age?With the old age there is loss of calcium deposition in bones .There are various reason for pain like osteoarthritis,meniscal injury,nerve compression ..For pain go for heat therapy in home you can use heating pad if you can go for physiotherapy session there therapist can give you SWD,ultrasound, wax therapy..Do strenghtenging exercise of quadriceps and gluteus muscle daily
  2. Place a towel roll below your knee and compress the towel by applying pressure with your thigh,,straight leg exercise ,etcBetter to consult physiotherapist for proper exercise training
