Right knee joint effusion.

My MRI report : minimal right knee joint effusion.
Partial tear of PCL Ligamentous sprain/ low grade partial tear of ACL
Grade 2 meniscal signal( intrasubstance meniscal tear/ meniscal degeneration) in the posterior horn of medial meniscus. So, Sir. I ask that I having no pain but my leg knee slightly move up from knee joint. What i do? Any surgery need or not?

  1. Hello, Thank you for posting your question on MediMetry. The effusion in the joint is due to inflammation which is caused by the ACL tear. But if you are not able to walk and there is not of functional disturbance then surgery will be required.
