  1. Hello Dear,

Thank you for writing to us at MediMetry.
It is recommended to wait for atleast 6 months, but waiting for a year would be better as your body needs to recuperate and prepare itself for the physically strenuous journey of 9 months of pregnancy.

Can I plan after 3 months??????
    • Hello Dear,

It is not recommended. But if you are so keen, you should get a thorough check-up done and consult a gynecologist. And then decide based on the reports and doctor's advice.

My gynecologist suggest to after 3 months but if I conceived after 3 months then is there any problem created with my pregnancy ????
    • Hello Dear,

Please follow your gynecologist's advice. We can not comment about the future pregnancy right now. It will have to be evaluated then. You should maintain a healthy lifestyle and take extra care as you try to conceive to prepare your body for the future pregnancy.

Spotting started in 4th week spotting. I went for ultrasound and doctor told that yoksac was not clear and baby heartbeat was 107. Then in the 6th week baby heartbeat went missing. I waited for few days and got check up again. At 8 week 5 days, doctor again told heartbeat is not there. In the mean time I had a fever 102. Please provide me an analysis of what happened and provide insights into my condition due to which I had abortion. This will help me stay careful during my next pregnancy.
    • Hello Dear,

Abortions are very common and most of the times its cause is unknown.
Most common reasons can be abnormal development of embryo i.e.. Genetic, abnormal implantation ( abnormalities of uterine cavity, hormones, endometrial reception, tubal collection), cervical incompetence , infections (local or systemic), mass in uterus like fibroids etc., stress, exposure to certain chemicals or radiation or gases, and drugs etc. It is a long list.
If this happened for the first time you should not worry much but take precautions as you start planning. Start tab folic acid 5mg one daily from 1 month preconception at least.
Check for diabetes and if you have, correct it before hand. Change your type of work if is a risk factor. Any drug you take needs modifications with doctor's advice. Check your self for infections.

If this is recurring abortions visit your doctor to rule out causes and take treatment accordingly. APLA syndrome needs to be ruled out and if required karyotype of both parents will be done. If anatomy of uterus or tubes or cervix is an issue then you will need surgical correction.
