  1. you feel radiating pain?is there any history of injury?havr you gone through x-ray or MRI this type of pain may be due to nerve compression,.you should follow some do's and dont's first...avoid low sitting...forward bending , heavy weight lifting

This type of pain is not sciatica as your pain in not referring to the ankle also..You should take rest when you feel severe pain,take heat therapy with heating pad ,do exercise and stretching and strengthening exercises regularly..For proper exercise training consult to the physiotherapists she can also give you some modalities like SWD IFT or TENS depending on your condition
