    Use some hot packs. Wear knee caps esp.in winters.
    Get your vitamin d and calcium checked.
    Start walking for short distance first and then make it for 25 minutes atleast.
    most importantly take some physiotherapy sessions which will include some treatment through machine, exercises etc.
    Exercises is the most important treatment for arthritis in long term. visit a good physiotherapy clinic.
    Avoid sitting on the floor, avoid using indian toilet, do not sit cross legged. do not stand at one place for long time....do not sit with legs hanging.
