    With 5'3" height and 55 kilo weight you are not obese bit over weight.
    A proper balance between diet and exercise will help you reduce weight.
    You can start with performing cardio exercises like brisk walking and jogging for at least 30 minutes.
    In your diet, you need to follow proper meal timings. Irregularities in meal timings is most commonly the reason of being over weight. Increase the portions of salads in your meals and reduce fats like oil, butter and ghee. Also increase protein intake to ensure that you have a good muscle mass.
