Low amniotic fluid during pregnancy. Is this worrisome?

Hi, I am 33 weeks pregnant however, while doing the USG yesterday the radiologist said my baby’s growth is showing 32 weeks and i have low amniotic fluid. I am waiting for my reports to come so if you could me tell me if this is something serious. How to overcome this. Please help.

    Well dates and growth discrepancy of upto 2 weeks on ultrasound is normal around this time.
    Liquor should be between AFI of 8 to 20. Less than 8 is reduced liquor.
    If on follow up after a week or 2 depending on your reports, difference increases or liquor falls further it would be worrisome and you will require admission for further management.
    But if it remains borderline or improves on follow up, pregnancy can be continued with certain precautions.
    Take rest and plenty of fluids, proper diet rich in proteins and monitor blood pressure.
    If required, protein supplements can also be added along with diet with doctor's advice.
