    Ultrasound is safe for the pregnancy so you should not worry. There may be some reason that your doctor does scan every visit or maybe this is to ensure fetal well being. Though normal frequency for ultrasound in well supervised pregnancies is on the 1st visit to confirm intrauterine and viable pregnancy, and then around 11 weeks for NT scan, and then at 18 to 20 weeks for confirming malformations, thereafter it is done around 24 to 28 weeks if required for echo and then later for fetal biophysical profile once or more if required.
    But in complicated or high risk pregnancy cases, ultrasound may be done more frequently.
