    Normal iron requirement of a pregnant woman is 38 mg per day. Dark leafy vegetables, like spinach, kale, collard greens, cabbage, dried fruits such as apricots, figs, raisins, beans, sprouts, black gram soup, pomegranate, beet root, 2-3 dates, are great source of iron. Also add plenty of citrus fruits like orange, grapes, amla etc to increase absorption of iron in body. Tea should be reduced as it hinders absorption of iron in body.
