    Welcome to Medimetry! Having a proper sumptuous meal is the key to gain some weight post delivery. Besides for proper lactation, it is necessary that you consume atleast 1000 calories extra. Consume more of milk products. Eat a proper healthy diet containing good portion of vegetables and fruits. Add an extra roti or two to your daily meal. Hope you find it helpful.   2. Hello Jiya. Welcome to Medimetry. To gain good muscle mass and needed fat mass is of importance after delivery. Eat a healthy meal comprising of whole grains, pulses, leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, sprouts, handful of nuts, milk and its products like curd, home made paneer, buttermilk. Rehydrate yourself with plenty of water throughout the day. Keep your oil intake upto 6 teaspoons (30 ml) per day. Avoid junk foods, refined foods, excessive sugar intake, sugar rich beverages. Eat at an interval of 3 hours with 3 major meals, 2 snacks and 1 bedtime snack especially milk at bedtime. Go for atleast 30 mins of walk for better fitness. Hope you find this helpful.
