    High blood pressure in pregnancy can always be problematic. It should be measured at 2 times at least 6 hours apart to confirm the diagnosis. If high blood pressure persists, visit your doctor. Various investigations need to be done to rule out associated conditions and start treatment according to the readings and symptoms. Ultrasound and if required Doppler can be done to see the placental and fetal condition. High BP may be associated with affecting of other systems or seizures or IUGR, oligohydramnios, and may need close monitoring and early delivery if required. So do not ignore and visit the doctor immediately.
