  1. Hello Varshiya Welcome to Medimetry. Your baby is older enough to eat your family meals. The baby needs sufficient calories and proteins for his growth. Include a diet rich in calories like fruits, dryfruits, jaggery. Make cereals like wheat, jowar, rice etc a major part of every meal. Add protein sources like dals, sprouts, eggs, etc twice a day. Add fruits, dryfruits as snack options Mix ghee, home made butter, cheese to add taste and calories to meals. Softly cook the vegetables and add to cereals or make soups. Add milk at suitable timings. Try different dishes to avoid refusals. Mix 2-3 of above food groups to prepare single dish. Keep meal timings nearly constant. Give plain water in between.
