  1. Have you undergone any investigation like x-ray,MRI,what is your age?profession.. Do you have sitting work more?
  2. Causes of pain in back and neck can be due to various reasons like long sitting ,nerve compression,muscular ...you must do exercises for back and neck regularly...avoid weight lifting,sitting for long duration stand and walk after some duration..
  3. Do exercise regularly like straight leg raising,bridging, clockwise and anticlockwise movement of ankle joint..for pain relief you can use heating pad...can go for physiotherapy sessions for proper exercise training and therapist can apply modalities for pain relief like ultrasound ,short wave, IFT etc depending in your condition..hope answered your question you can ask further
