  1. During first three months of pregnancy, nausea, morning sickness , bitter or metallic taste very common are common problem. Hormones, particularly estrogen, play a part in controlling the sense of taste.
    Brush your teeth thrice a day, clean tongue with tongue cleaner. Take fresh lemon and rub it on tongue /teeth & gums, then rinse with warm water. Unripe mango/ amla with common/ black salt , tamarind, pickles, ginger, lime juice, dahi vada, tamarind chutney, tomato chutney, anything sour to remove the taste.
    Mint chewing gums for bitter taste. All these foods not only have the power to break through the metallic taste in your mouth during pregnancy, they also increase saliva production, which will help wash it away. But try to avoid carbonated drinks, Try Tab Doxinate and Vitamin B 6 for nausea, these are safe in pregnancy.
