It is quite possible that the fatty liver is going to remain, sometimes for a few years and sometimes decades. In order to prevent any further damage to the liver, concentrate on your diet (avoid junk, street food, oily and fried food, etc) and include fruits and raw veggies that will serve as antioxidants and help repair or regenerate diseased tissues.
Keep a very good exercise routine and manage stress effectively. Do yoga regularly.
