    Welcome to medimetry, i can understand your concern.

    Hormonal changes and imbalances can cause temporary hair loss. Scalp infections.
    Infections, such as ringworm, can invade the hair and skin of your scalp, leading to scaly patches and hair loss.
    Once infections are treated, hair generally grows back..
    Hair loss can be caused by several drugs used for arthritis, depression, heart problems, high blood pressure.
    It can also occur due to thyroid disorder

    Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Eat eggs, cottage cheese, soya, lentils, whole grains. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health.
    So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Exercise daily to keep yourself healthy inside out.
    Get investigated with:
    1. Hemoglobin %.
    2. Serum ferritin.
    3. Thyroid profile.

    Please consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and take the treatment with consent.
    1. 5% Tugain lotion (Minoxidil), to be applied as 1 mL twice daily only over the areas of thinning of hair.
