  1. Hello and thank you for posting us at Medimetry. While breast feeding I suggest that you take a diet rich in iron, calcium and vitamin B.Drink plenty of water and take fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, milk, dairy products.Avoid alcohol, too much of coffee (not more than 2-3 cups a day) and too much of seafood. If you feel that after you eat certain foods your baby becomes fussy, develops rashes or diarrhoea it is best to maintain a dairy about it and avoid it.Some women may feel that foods causing gases like cabbage, onion and cauliflower should be avoided but there is no sufficient scientific literature to support this.On a whole take all foods in adequate amount and a nutritious and balanced diet. You may also need calcium, iron and vitamin b12 supplements while breast feeding. Please speak to your doctor about it.Keep us posted.Take care and good day!
