    Fissure ano is a common problem and usually associated with constipation and bleeding. Constipation may worsen in pregnancy due to hormonal changes and lead to more pain and bleeding. Chronic bleed leads to anaemia which again worsens with advancing pregnancy due to physiological changes of pregnancy leading to hemodilution. So, it does not directly affect s the baby but may cause above problems.
    You should avoid constipation by taking high roughage diet like fruits, salads, cereals and whole grains. Take plenty of fluids orally along with physical activity like walking or other exercise 30 min a day. Use local cream preparations for soothing effect and healing of fissure along with taking care of infection. start taking iron rich diet and iron and multivitamins that increase iron absorption from diet with advice of your doctor.
