Feeling insecure about health while interacting with people

I Feel insecure about health while interacting with people. If I cross any patient I think virus will attack me and if any patient sit beside me I think this disease will attack me. Anytime I think this I feel depressed, because of this thinking I lose my weight. I wash my hand with soap(20-30 times in a day). And if I talk to any other person I think his virus will attack me through his spit. Is it mental problem.

I have a question – is cancer contagious. Please help.

  1. Hello sir,
I suppose what you are suffering from is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is a disorder of repetitive thoughts and actions. This problem usually starts in late teens to early 20s, but may be triggered at any age. The prognosis will depend on your current symptom levels, family history, current medical conditions and past treatment history. You may seek a private consultation for detailed discussion of this issue.
    P.S.: Cancer is not contagious.
