Does more weight gain in pregnancy indicate cesarean delivery?

Hello Doctor, In my pregnancy I take normal diet but my weight was 69 but now in 9 month my weight is 90. Now only as per my sonography my delivery date is 14 Nov. Now my doctor shouted at me for my weight.  He is telling control your weight. So is my doctor trying to indicate for cesarean delivery?

    Well now you are close to delivery and in this short time you can't do miracle of loosing weight and is not advisable also. Take balanced healthy diet as per your BMI diet chart.
    Excess weight gain may be associated with hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroidism etc. If everything fine, mode of delivery will depend on baby weight, position , rotation of head in birth canal and on your pelvic parameters and other complex things that are responsible for normal progress of labour.
    Don't worry and avoid weight gain as per your dietitian advice.

    9mth sonography I got 14 nov as the delivery date and as my 9 th month getting completed on 13th nov. So will doc wait for allowing normal delivery till 14th nov and even 6 to 7 days after that?

      Due date is 9 months 7 days from your last menstrual period. We usually do not wait beyond that. If you want, and your USG biophysical profile, physical condition permits, discuss with your doctor and can wait for onset of labour upto 41 weeks .
