  1. Hello Dear,

Thank you for writing to us at MediMetry.
By black spots, do you mean on tissue paper? If it is so it can be either due to some old blood in vagina or anal area.
If this is from vagina normally, then it can be placental sign which is not worrisome. Other reasons can be threatened abortion or trauma or missed abortion. Hence to confirm you should get a vaginal examination done and confirm by Ultrasound if everything is normal.
Anal bleed should not be ignored as it can lead to anaemia or cause can again be trivial or serious both. Get a check-up done and take treatment accordingly.

Causes of black spot can be Infection in the pelvic cavity or a UTI (urinary tract infection), Irritation of the cervix caused by sexual intercourse. If you have pressure in your lower abdomen during pregnancy that does not resolve itself, accompanied by bright red blood, and or excessive bleeding, call your doctor immediately. Do not wait.
Also, wear a pad once you notice that you see blood. This way you can keep track of how much you are bleeding, the color of the blood, and the consistency. The more you know about your symptoms, the better you can explain it to your doctor and have a faster diagnosis.
