    welcome to medimetry..
    there are various reasons for back pain like long hours of sitting ,incorrect posture,history of accident,lifting heavy weight ,sometimes nerve compression or muscle spasm also causes back pain,.
    please specify what kind of pain your are suffering from is it radiating or at specific point ,from how many days having this problem..
    have you undergone through any investigation like xray or MRI please share the reports with us so that we can help you more accurately..
    for the time being what you can do is
    use heating pad over the affected area for two to three times a day for at least five minutes ,
    apply pain relief gel and do light massage ..
    avoid long hour of sitting take intervals every hour and do walking
    when pain get subside do back exercises regularly for at least 15 min daily
