    Dysentery is passing loose stools containing blood and mucus along with or without fever or pain in abdomen. It is almost always due to infection. Other common reason is cows milk protein allergy.
    If your child is having recurrent dysentery then either there is a problem with hygiene of child food or it may be CMPI if you are giving him animal milk. So stop animal milk including milk protein (paneer, sweets made of milk, Icecreams etc.) and switch to formula milk.
    For keeping a child healthy and free from disease, one has to be very vigilant about their diet and hygiene. They should be offered food containing all good items like cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits and oils. They should also be offered plenty of liquids through out the day.
