    lt is uncommon for children to grow white or grey hair as the pigment cells in their hair follicles are usually healthy and active. White hair usually results from the degeneration of these pigment cells, called melanocytes, and occurs in older adults. If your son has only a few strands of white hair and is otherwise healthy and well, it is unlikely that his condition will worsen. If you see that it is progressing then should consult a Pediatrician to check for various medical condition which causes premature greying of hairs. In the meantime, you should continue to keep him on his healthy diet.
    The use of vitamin supplements and oil massages have not been known to be effective in treating or preventing white hair.
